Vistal Group won another contract in which it will play the role of general contractor. The consortium formed by Vistal Gdynia SA (consortium leader), “Most” sp. z o.o. (Consortium Partner) and “Polbud-Pomorze” sp. z o.o. (Consortium Partner) signed a contract with the Provincial Roads Authority in Krakow (Ordering Party) for the design and execution of construction works under the name: Skawina ring road stage II – design and execution of construction works on the section from Energetyków street to the national road no. 44. The gross value of the contract is PLN 35.9 million.
In line with our strategy, we are developing our activities in the infrastructure sector as a General Contractor. We participate in tenders both as a general contractor and as an appointed subcontractor. We believe that the biggest tenders in this sector are yet to come, due to delays in their announcement. The work to be carried out by Vistal Gdynia on the Skawina Ring Road within Stage II of the investment will be carried out in the ‘design and build’ system and will include the construction of a 2-kilometre long Skawina Ring Road with a 400-metre long flyover. The investment, which is a continuation of the first and third stage, will significantly improve the traffic flow in the Lesser Poland region – says Ryszard Matyka, the President of the Management Board of Vistal Gdynia SA.
