Vistal Group, a leading manufacturer of large-sized, specialised steel structures in Poland, which executes contracts for clients in Poland and abroad, signed a significant agreement in the infrastructure segment. The subject of the contract is the construction of 16 bridges under the project “Construction of the road S-7 Gdańsk (A-1) – Elbląg (S-22) section Koszwały (road No. 7, W. Koszwały) – Elbląg (with Kazimierzowo junction), divided into 2 parts. Part No. 1: Construction of the road S-7 Gdańsk (A-1) – Elbląg (S-22) section Koszwały (national road No. 7, W. Koszwały) – Elbląg (with Kazimierzowo junction). Task 1: Koszwały – Nowy Dwór Gdañski”. The contract worth 49.9 million PLN gross was concluded with the Czech construction company Metrostav AS, the general contractor for this task.

We are very pleased with the signing of such a significant agreement. It strengthens our order portfolio, which at the beginning of this year was worth over PLN 374 million. This is another bridge contract executed as part of projects modernising the road infrastructure of northern Poland – in December 2015, we signed a contract with Budimex worth PLN 71.6 million gross for the execution and installation of the bridge support structure on the S-7 Miłomłyn-Olsztynek expressway section. Thus, we are definitely strengthening our market position in the infrastructure segment, which we consider to be particularly promising – said Ryszard Matyka, President of the Management Board of Vistal Gdynia SA.
