On 7 February the assembly of the steel structure for the viaduct under construction in Copenhagen took place. The whole steel construction weighing 135 t was delivered by VISTAL.
Within the framework of this investment VISTAL was responsible for preparation of workshop and execution documentation, purchase of material, prefabrication of steel construction, anti-corrosive galvanization and transport of the construction to the construction site. The assembly of the viaduct over the railway right next to the Carlsberg station was carried out during the night hours. Timely delivery was particularly important here as rail traffic had to be interrupted. For this reason, the assembly date was agreed a year in advance. The new structure will form one of the main entrance gates to the city.
