On 9 October this year, the 16th meeting of maritime business of the Gdańsk coast under the banner of “Wspólna Kaczka” took place in the Gdynia Arena hall. During this annual maritime business event, Vistal Gdynia S.A. received the “Amber Duck” award for the most spectacular achievement in the Polish economy in 2014. Our company was recognised for the construction at the Indian Quay in the Port of Gdynia and the operation in 2014 of the largest production hall on the Baltic Sea, together with offices and welfare facilities, with a total built-up area of 12,662.6 sq.m. for the production of steel, bridge and hull construction elements and achieving the position of Poland’s leading manufacturer of specialised steel structures for domestic and foreign contractors. The award was received on behalf of the company by Robert Ruszkowski, Vice President of the Management Board of Vistal Gdynia S.A.
