A 50-metre long and 5.88-metre wide construction element of an overhead travelling crane manufactured by Vistal drove along Trasa Kwiatkowskiego in Gdynia. Weighing almost 70 tonnes, it was the largest structure imported in one piece in Pomerania. The transport over a distance of only 5 km took about three hours. The biggest challenge was driving out of the Vistal production plant in Hutnicza Street and entering and driving backwards along Trasa Kwiatkowskiego. The crane component is the last and the largest of the four that Vistal Offshore prepared for a German contractor. After painting, the crane beams will be transported by ship to the client in North America.
